Daily Prayer
The rocks absorb the sun
Every day
And reflect the moon
Each night.
And so they've done
Since moon and sun
First danced together
Around this earth.
Before that,
These rocks melted
To the touch of God
Who formed them into testaments
Of Himself.
If you lay your cheek on them,
You can feel the vibration
Of their song.
